Eldoret (3)

his is the Eldoret community served by our school. Here we see a 'street scene', a 'shop' at the side of the road where locals try to earn a living and the toilet serving several homes.






Since these photographs were taken, much of the area has been devastated by fire and wanton destruction, razing homes and small businesses to the ground and chasing away the population. It is impossible to imagine the distress of those who, having so little, now find themselves with absolutely nothing.
